Having a daily time for personal devotions and prayer is an important part of knowing Jesus better.  Here are some great resources to get you started. These are available online or in the Info Center at Messiah.

Sermon: September 14, 2014
What’s love got to do with… DEVOTIONS

The word devotion literally means “love, loyalty, and devotion for a person, activity or cause.” For a Christian, that devotion is directed to Jesus Christ and His Word. Devotion is also defined as personal prayer and worship.

Having a daily time for personal devotions is an important part of the Christian life and faith. It may look a little different for every person, but includes some time to be alone with Jesus, reflect on His Word, and pray. It is a way of setting our hearts on Jesus and His kingdom every day.
