Sunday Morning Bible Study @ 9:30am
You are invited to join the Sunday Morning Bible Study in Upper Deck 4 led by Pastors Matzat, Rauh, Luley and the Seminary field education students. We’ll be studying the Book of Genesis. This first book of the Bible, beginning with Creation and ending with the death of Joseph, provides the basic foundation for all of Scripture. The fifty chapters of Genesis presents the fascinating story of God establishing covenant with his people. In spite of their many failures, God remained faithful, for out of the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would come the Messiah, the very Son of God, destined to redeem this world of sinners. All are invited to attend the Sunday morning Bible Class. Registration is not necessary.
Leaders: Pastor Bill Luley, Pastor Don Matzat, Pastor John Rauh

God gave us emotions to experience life, not destroy it! Lysa TerKeurst admits that she, like most women, has had experiences where others bump into her happy and she comes emotionally unglued. We stuff, we explode, or we react somewhere in between. What do we do with these raw emotions? Is it really possible to make emotions work for us instead of against us? Yes, and in her usual inspiring and practical way, Lysa will show you how. Filled with gut-honest personal examples and biblical teaching, Unglued will equip you to: Know with confidence how to resolve conflict in your important relationships. Find peace in your most difficult relationships as you learn to be honest but kind when offended. Identify what type of reactor you are and how to significantly improve your communication. Respond with no regrets by managing your tendencies to stuff, explode, or react somewhere in between. Gain a deep sense of calm by responding to situations out of your control without acting out of control.

Bible Classes: Women’s (Tuesday Morning and Tuesday Afternoon)
Starts January 8: Tuesdays @ 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week. Teaching videos are key to the understanding of this study. (9 sessions)
