Join us for Holy Week services at Messiah beginning Palm Sunday, April 14. We begin the celebration of our Lord’s resurrection on Easter with an observance of the events of the last week of His earthly life. Palm Sunday marks the day when Jesus makes His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Our message at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 AM will look at the events of that day and examine why His hero’s welcome became a “Parade Interrupted.”

Later that week on Maundy Thursday, we will mark the occasion of the Last Supper. On the eve of His last day of life, Jesus shares a meal with his disciples and commands them to “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). Soon after, He is betrayed, put on trial, and condemned to death. Our service on April 18 at 7:00 PM commemorates this final gathering with his disciples.

Good Friday, April 19, marks the crucifixion and death of Jesus at Calvary. This solemn service begins at 7:00 PM. A narration guides us through the Gospel accounts of Jesus’s death as candles are extinguished. We come face-to-face with the consequences of our sin and reflect on the incredible sacrifice our God suffered on our behalf.

On Easter Sunday, April 21, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! We have four services:

  • 6:30AM-Outdoor Sunrise
  • 8:00AM-Contemporary with Communion
  • 9:30AM-Contemporary
  • 11:00AM-Contemporary

We hope you will join us! To help you better plan your day, we want to make you aware that 9:30 is the most well-attended service. All services feature the same Gospel-centered message based on this foundational confession of our faith: He is Risen!

We’ll see you in church!
