Please join us for a fun night of dancing, crafts, snacks, games, and photos! Lutheran High would like to provide dads and daughters a night they will always remember at our Daddy Daughter Dance! We will offer a photo area to capture the night and also light snacks and drinks along with a cupcake decorating station. We will also have a craft station for you and your date where you can make a stain glass window together. Please consider joining us for a night to remember on January 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM. CHILI DINNER and OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, January 25
Tired of the cold? Do you need something to warm you? Lutheran High has just what you need- Cougar CHILI!
The annual Chili Dinner event is planned to encourage church families and community interested in Christian education to visit and dine at Lutheran High School. This year’s date is January 25 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. in the LHS Commons. Dinner includes all you can eat “Cougar Chili” with hot dogs, veggies, beverages, and dessert. You will not only get a taste of our famous Cougar Chili, but also become familiar with the LHS community. Adults: $6.00, Children grades 1-8: $3.00, and Kindergarten and younger are Free. This is an opportunity to ask current LHS students and staff questions about Lutheran High, a school providing positive Christian influence for high school students. If you’d like a tour, please let someone know at the ticket table as you enter the commons, and arrangements will be made for you to receive a guided tour of the campus before or after your meal. Baseball & Track Coaches Needed
Lutheran High School is currently seeking assistant coaches for baseball and track and field for the upcoming spring 2015 season and a head varsity volleyball coach for the fall of 2015. Any interested individuals should submit the following: a letter of interest, with a brief statement of your coaching philosophy, resumé, and two letters of recommendation specifically noting leadership, strengths, and coaching/teaching experience. Do you have a senior in high school going to college next fall?
You should be planning to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) right after January 1st, 2015. Lutheran High School is hosting a workshop to help you complete the FAFSA and answer your questions about financial aid on Wednesday, January 14th at 7 PM. A financial rep from Saint Louis University will present and answer questions. Like the FAFSA, this event is free and open to the public.
