Readings:
Genesis 2:19-25 (Adam and Eve – the first husband and wife)
Ephesians 5:21-33 (Submit to one another)
Matthew 19:3-6 (Jesus refers to God’s design for marriage in Genesis)

God designed marriage to be one His great blessings for human beings. In the book of Ecclesiastes God’s Word says that “two are better than one.” But living in the intimate relationship of husband and wife requires sacrifice and submission to each other. The key to a deep, joy-filled marriage is having Jesus and His Gospel at the center of your life and your marriage!

Verse for the week: “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Ephesians 5:21
