New Testament Lesson: Acts 1:12-26 (Matthias chosen to replace Judas)
Gospel Lesson: John 17:20-26 (Jesus prays for all believers)
Before Jesus was crucified, He prayed that we would see His glory, and be with Him in heaven. The word glory means honor, distinction, praise. Jesus was glorified through His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. He conquered sin and death. As sinners we have no glory of our own, but through Jesus share in the glory of Jesus.
