In the final two commandments God warns us not to covet what belongs to our neighbor; his house, wife, and possessions. These commandments have much to do with the condition of your heart. Coveting is not an active sin, but a condition of the heart; scheming and desiring to have what does not belong to you. Our hearts are restless because we want what we don’t have. The opposite is “contentment” – being deeply satisfied with the blessings God has given you. When our hearts are content in Christ, then we are free to serve our neighbors.
